Gorge Grown Food Safety Workshop June 11th
Lisa Spicka will be leading a food safety workshop through Gorge Grown’s Food Incubator Network on June 11th. The workshop, called Beyond the Food Handler Permit: Food Safety for Food Processing Facilities, will be held from 6-9pm at Columbia Gorge Community College. The seminar is geared towards value-added farmers and small to medium-sized food processors. Class content will combine food safety theory with workshop exercises to identify top food safety risks and possible improvements for participants’ production facilities.
